The professional pickleball annual schedule is split between the individual-format Carvana PPA Tour and the team-format Major League Pickleball (MLP), running across a year-round calendar.

Carvana PPA Tour (Individual & Open Play) 

 

STRUCTURE 

Features around 20 tour stops consisting of Opens (1,000 points), Cups (1,500 points), and Majors (2,000–3,000 points). 

 

FORMAT 

Includes five pro divisions (men’s/women’s singles and doubles, mixed doubles) plus extensive amateur brackets. 

 

TIMELINE & SCOPE 

Operates a split-year/global schedule bookended by marquee events like the Veolia Pickleball National Championships in the fall and the year-end PPA Finals, with expanded international presence across Asia, Australia, Canada, and Europe.

Major League Pickleball (Team Play) 

STRUCTURE 
Comprises roughly 13 total events dedicated entirely to team competition. 

 

TIMELINE 
Concentrated heavily from May through August following the early-year individual tour stretch. 

 

FORMAT 
Includes nine regular-season events, a mid-season tournament in July, and a high-stakes three week playoff structure in August (culminating in the MLP Finals/Nations Cup format).
